Our Backyard – Anglesea

Welcome to Anglesea

After a huge Super Saturday last weekend with over 1500 Auctions and a strong clearance rate of 73% , the Melbourne Real Estate market slows down this weekend to celebrate what this state is internationally renowned for – embracing sporting events. A public holiday on Tuesday for the ‘race that stops the nation’ enables a lot of people to take an extra cheeky day off on Monday and have a long weekend.

On the coast it’s a different story in Real Estate, we are busy showing people property that have headed our way to enjoy the surf and sunshine. Lots of open for inspections and 2 Auctions on Saturday for 2 outstanding properties. We are fortunate enough to have been selected to represent these exceptional sites both offering loads of lifestyle opportunities and more than that, investments that will hold the buyers in good stead for the future.

We openly welcome anyone to come along and see our excellent Auctioneer and Managing Director of the business, Ian Stewart in action.

94 Melba Parade – 12pm

164 – 170 Great Ocean Road – 2pm

There are so many things to enjoy in Anglesea this long weekend, kick start your day with breakfast at the General Store or McGains nursery, the Surf club for lunch and why not check out the live music on at the pub on Saturday night.  The golf course is a famous tourist attraction with the very tame kangaroos lying around; they won’t be bothered you teeing off around them. Enjoy the clubhouse for a meal and drink afterwards.

The surf report is looking good; you can hire a board from the surf shop and get in the water. Whilst our water temp is sitting around 14.7 degrees, you may need a wetsuit but if it’s just a dip you’re after, I highly recommend a very refreshing swim. There is nothing more invigorating than coming out of the water and warming up in the sunshine.

For our residents and holiday home owners, this could also be a weekend when you like to ‘tinker’ around the house and get it ready for summer holidays. So when you come down to relax there are no more chores to be done. Our business relies heavily on referring tradespeople we trust and work with on a regular basis. This week we have to give a shout out to ‘Jacko’ from ‘thank god I’m here’ that dropped everything and worked around the clock to assist us in the office. Thank you for looking after us & your incredible professionalism, we recommend them highly. If you fancy popping yourself in a hammock with a book instead of those jobs that need to be done, you may want to get in touch with Jacko.

Whatever it is you’re doing, have a terrific weekend. Life is to be enjoyed and there’s no better place than here.
