Our Backyard – Anglesea

Welcome to Anglesea.

Summer has arrived! Isn’t it always the way, just when you head back to work and school the sun decides to present itself. The good news is I’m predicting that we will now have warmth and sunshine until mid-April, so plenty of beach time still ahead & this weekend couldn’t be more perfect.

When buying a coastal property, it’s more than just a house and location, you are investing in the local community. From buying your coffee at your favourite café to having a massage or hiring a canoe. All the businesses thrive on residents and people holidaying here. But more than just injecting the local community with a financial investment, there is a real opportunity to meet new people to share experiences with.

In the last week I have discovered not only special iconic venues but incredible local people and it has been an absolute joy. It made me realise that when making a leap into a new area, there is so much more than a beautiful view or incredible clear water to swim in. Sometimes a beer at the local Anglesea bowling club can be as uplifting as a yoga session.  Here are my favourite places of the week, make sure you give them a try when you are next in Anglesea.

A great place to enjoy a social game or comp with the locals. If you don’t want to join a team, just watching and embracing the environment is fun.

Rusty Anchor is a bar that has been created and open for the summer only for drinks. Located at Point Roadknight, it is a spectacular view to enjoy a drink with friends.

This is the most beautiful room and environment to do a Yoga class, the teacher is amazing too!

This week we saw an interest rate drop for the first time in 18 months again reinforcing there has never been better conditions to purchase property. The lowest rate in Australian history! Our economy is performing well, petrol prices still low and all this means extra dollars in our pockets.

Another week of sales, appraisals and listings from the Anglesea Sales Team, keeping us busy and generating plenty of activity.

With the weekend we have coming up, jump in the car and head to the coast to check out our open for inspections. If you see a property not advertised for an open, let us know and we can organise an inspection by appointment.

Look forward to seeing you in the sunshine.
