Our Backyard

I think if we can all get through the next few weeks; we may just be thinking how good it was to be in lockdown during winter. A little taste of Spring today and tomorrow is just what we all needed to lift our spirits and dare to dream about the upcoming warmer months.

With property stock levels being so low and excellent qualified buyers around, off market transactions have been strong and may continue to be until mid-September. I sold a property to a buyer this week sight unseen! They were happy to get into Point Roadknight and given restrictions in Melbourne, decided not to take the drive to view the house.

I think that speaks volumes about buyers having a clear understanding of position and location rather than getting caught up in the house itself. We all hear so much about the house layout or construction not being quite right, however purchasing a house on the coast is very much about securing a lifestyle asset. Houses can be renovated or changed but ocean views, land size and walking distance to the beach, shops, river and amenities will always hold you in good stead.
