Our Backyard – Anglesea

Welcome to Anglesea

This weekend is the end of day light savings, Sunday giving us another hour to snuggle up and have a sleep in. Clocks will be turned back from 3am, of course our technology is so clever that android and apple iPhone will do that all for us. Keep it in mind if you are heading to Anglesea to check out our properties & open for inspections.

School holidays kick off tomorrow for 2 weeks and with Easter coming up at the end of the holidays (14, 15, 16 & 17) we should see a busy time again on the coast. For anyone who was planning a trip interstate, the terrible situation with the cyclone and floods has forced holiday makers to change tack. The good news is the weather forecast for the next 14 days for Victoria is looking perfect. Temps in the 20’s and sunshine with just enough chill in the air for a cosy fire in the evenings.  For buyers considering purchasing on the coast, why not rent one of our many fabulous beach houses and enjoy this lovely time of year.

Street appeal with properties is so important and changing the look of property with a fresh facade can transform a home and add incredible value. I really love the ‘Hamptons’ look which is the grey with white trim however I’m fearful that this is going to become overdone. Just because I love to visualise homes as I drive past them, I keep painting local Anglesea properties in my mind! I think being coastal and so many architectural options, we can afford to be a bit more adventurous with colour. There are categories of colours and I have added a few links so you can check them out, so when you are considering either updating your own home or buying a new one – perhaps you can see the property in a different light.

Never underestimate changing your front door colour to something bright and bold and then you can afford to go with the traditional or conservative look. Yellow, Red, Blue or Fuchsia are all fabulous and very welcoming.
