I’ve fallen in love with Autumn! I just realised it’s a season I have completely undervalued, I think because it falls after Summer its always been attached with disappointment as we shift our mind toward the cold and routine of work, school, holidays are over but now how good is April!

What an amazing month! Warm sunny days, comfortable evenings, incredibly beautiful mornings and now with the end of day light savings we have enough time to get out of bed and embrace the day ahead. There are loads of people in Anglesea at the moment with school holidays and with the sun shining, it’s so lovely to see kids out enjoying the environment, surfing, swimming, horse riding, riding bikes, canoeing in the river or stand up paddle boarding. It’s time to put down the devices and make the most of this divine time & that goes for the adults too!

Easter coming up next week is a big family time of year & if you haven’t yet thought about what you’re going to do, there is still time to book one of our holiday accommodation properties! We still have 8 available, so be quick to make a decision and give Rebecca or Nicole a call to lock one in.

The Rip Curl Pro surfing competition commences next Friday 14th – 24th April, it’s the 56th year of celebrating the best male and female surfers and it proudly boasts being the longest running world championship level contest on the world tour. It’s the third event on the 2017 World Surf League (WSL) world tour.

Trials: 9th to 10th April, 2017
Main Event: 12th to 24th April, 2017

At the end of April we have Anzac Day on Tuesday 25th, another special day filled with gratitude for the soldiers that fought for our country. As we spend the coming weeks enjoying our coastline it’s perfectly timed for appreciation.
