Seriously if I see another picture of someone holidaying in Europe!!!! Social media, facebook & Instagram is absolutely full of people showcasing their exotic destinations. It’s totally fine for me to post photos when I go away to the warmth and sunshine, however I only do it to confirm I was actually away and it really did happen. I wish everyone that travelled in business and first class to the Greek islands all the very best with their lying down flat 22 hour flight.

In the meantime back in Anglesea, the land of gods and goddesses where I have crossed paths with people enjoying our little island on the coast. There are buyers stashing their holiday funds and putting them into deposits for a lifetime choice of vacations in the heartland.

For a month that is traditionally quiet, we have been so busy and it’s been a fantastic sign of the upcoming months ahead. Our holiday accommodation properties are almost booked out for the summer, buyers will soon have some stock to consider and owners can feel overjoyed that your investment is creeping up in value every single week!

We have been crunching some numbers following on from end of financial year and I would like to share a quick snap shot.

July 2016 – June 2017

approx. 130 sales over the last financial year

July 2016 – Dec 2016

Approx – 71 sales

Jan – June 2017

Approx. 59 sales

On average there is 7-8 sales per month, highest months of the year have been November with 31, January with 17, October 13 and February with 10.

Over the next week, we will give you more information on average sale prices and growth compared to this time last year. My estimate is that Anglesea prices have gone up approx. 20% in value taking in to consideration lack of stock and increase in buyer demand.
