Our Backyard – Anglesea

Happy Friday 13th! Such a lucky day, hope some prosperity finds its way to you……

Along with being a slightly superstitious person, I also believe in planetary activity having an effect on our mind & situations, based on their movement. If you live by the ocean like most of us, it’s clear the tides are in line with moon phases etc.

If you have been feeling like you’ve been going backwards lately or things have been on hold, it’s because of that pesky mercury retrograde! Literally weeks ago I smashed the wheel on my car and I’m not getting it repaired until next week, until mercury moves forward / direct again from the 15th April. Mercury has an impact on all moving parts like electrical or mechanical items. In my instance, I also had a fall during this period of mercury retrograde and broke my wrist, as it was the same wrist I broke years ago, I had to go in for surgery and have a plate put in. Apparently there is a blessing attached to Mercury being retrograde and that is we get the chance and opportunity to go back and revisit some aspects of our lives and therefore get another chance to put things right. It may seem like an obstacle at the time but things tend to benefit in the long run and work out for the best.

So if you have been held back with finance, paperwork or logistics that has prevented you from putting in offers or you have missed out on a property recently or renovations had a hick up, don’t worry as Sunday onwards everything should come together. I know this may sound a little crazy but I also think there are probably quite a lot of you having a moment recognising this timing (March 22nd – April 15th)

The good news is my broken wrist definitely did not have an impact on being able to sign contracts or list properties! There is more great stock coming up, so the season is not over despite the finish of school holidays and Easter.

Speaking of moving forward, If you’re keen to be heard or would like to have an impact on the planning and direction of Anglesea, then you can join Politian Sarah Henderson tomorrow at Anglesea Memorial Hall, McMillan Street from 4.00 – 5.00pm. There will be discussion around Great Ocean Road upgrade, new mobile base station, the redevelopment of the Anglesea Bowls Club and Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club. There is also a ‘Solar Towns’ program of which the Anglesea Golf Club and Anglesea Men’s Shed are amongst local organisations to have received funding for solar panels.

If you want to attend the meeting, please email Natale (office of Sarah Henderson) to RSVP at natale.lewington@aph.gov.au or call 5243 1444.

We have a very special new listing in Point Roadknight – number 1, Twelfth Avenue. Today I was with our photographer and did a Carrie Bradshaw from sex and city, walking the few metres to the private track and beach, in high heels! Just to demonstrate how easy and close it is to get to the back beach. A great block of 1000sqm, the 3 bedroom house is super cute and cosy. We will have it up and running for following weekend 21 & 22nd April.

Have a great weekend, extra special for signing contracts and doing angel card readings! See you at the open for inspection and appointments.
