Our Backyard – Anglesea

The wild seas, the squally winds, rain coming down in sheets and for a moment, I’m absolutely loving it. There is something wonderful about being in the middle of a weather pattern that is dramatic and unique. I have this beautiful painting at home and it’s called ‘Surfers Nightmare’ big crazy waves with an array of colors and white tips, greens and blues of various shades and shapes. When I was heading to work this morning and looked out at Guvvo’s there it was, that very picture, it made me smile as the energy is so fierce, yet still so beautiful.

You should come and sea it for yourself over the weekend, don’t be put off by it, there is never a better time to negotiate on a property than in conditions like these. Have the edge on the competition and do the deal whilst their home on the couch!

Last week I was talking about the ‘game changers’ and why the coast is so appealing and then bang the very next day in the Age, there it was Anglesea in lights as a destination that is experiencing growth due to demand. ‘ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY DRIVES PRICE BOOM’ Sea changers and Tree changers, moving to experience a better life and more affordable than the Melbourne real estate market. Interesting that of all the specific areas mentioned, Anglesea had the highest median house price of $842,500 and 25.75% year on growth. See below article for your reference.
