Our Backyard – Anglesea

Welcome to Anglesea

We have had perfect autumn weather this week and the forecast looking good for the upcoming weekend too. With sunny days and a gentle breeze the conditions are perfect for walking! I did the surf coast walk from Anglesea to Point Addis this week and it was absolutely stunning. I usually listen to music when I walk but I just couldn’t do it as the birdlife was beautiful and the sound of the crashing waves, invigorating. If you want a great day adventure, pack a lunch and plenty of water and set out to embrace the serenity of this spectacular coastline. There are many walks and bike rides you can do from Fairhaven through to Torquay & Point Impossible – check out the tracks & more information on the surf coast walk website.

There has been a lot of buyer activity in the last week and we have certainly noticed qualified, serious purchasers in the market. Still very low stock levels in Anglesea creating solid demand for the homes we have available and offers coming in for properties. We have been setting up day appointments with buyers that come down  and  are showing them through as many properties as we can, this is a great way to be time productive. Always keep in mind that if a property does not have a scheduled open for inspection to ask us to set up a viewing for you.

The following weekend will no doubt be full of activity as we celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday May 10th, so if you are planning on looking at property – this weekend is perfect for you! And if you haven’t organized anything for your mum yet, you can thank me for reminding you to get sorted!

I found some great sites to keep your mum toasty warm and cosy for the winter & also for you in your beach house! Goose down & feather mattress toppers and electric blankets are on my list this week!
