Our Backyard Anglesea & Torquay

Blog – 22nd November 2018

When we experience a week like the one we have just had and then the week we have ahead, it’s understandable why women need their own walk in robe. I have pulled out summer dresses, bathers, heels, thongs, boots, jackets, coats, umbrellas, hats and sunglasses! It’s absolutely necessary when looking at crucial rooms that ‘sell a home’ on a floor plan, are the ones that offer storage or spaces to tuck things away or provide options for ease of living. Generous master bedroom, ensuite, walk in robes and on the luxury side, a kitchen with separate butler’s pantry, additional living spaces, however super important for coastal homes is a large lock up garage or shed for surf boards, wetsuits, tools and gardening equipment.

If you’re into horse racing or planning on going, the forecast is not looking the best but let’s face it no one really cares because the atmosphere is so great and the vibe so much fun. Dressing up, wearing a hat that you’ll never wear again, that you will pop in a box and store away in that walk in robe & find when you’re moving house one day!  I’ll be utilising my skills with the form guide as usual and selecting horses based on names and numbers. Anything that refers to the ocean, stars, moon and angels and on the number side 2 or 22 or 11…. It’s incredibly scientific but only a couple of years ago I won about $1000 and bought myself a new Dyson vacuum! Money well spent.

For anyone that cherishes a day off and then the opportunity to take another one, there’s never a better time to head to us on the coast. It really does mark the true spring property market kick off and there are plenty of amazing properties to see. I keep getting asked about how the Anglesea market is performing and are we feeling any effects of the Melbourne market, the short answer is no! We are in demand, there are plenty of buyers around and we have incredible properties on the market to sell! Can’t wait to show them to you.

The hottest property of the week on realestate.com.au in Anglesea for the week is 23 Holmwood Avenue – in only a few days there were 44,984 property page photos viewed and 10,179 search results… Wow!

Look forward to seeing you at the open for inspections and private appointments. May the days ahead deliver an abundance of joy and prosperity!
