Real Estate Lorne Weekly Report

‘Lorne Real Estate – Market round up’. What an interesting time in world economics, highlighted overnight by the Australian dollar falling below parity for the first time for many months. The all ordinaries index fell to levels similar to that of 2004 signaling almost zero growth in stocks since that date. In our coastal leisure markets it’s no secret that values have been under pressure but one thing is GUARANTEED! On the lifestyle and satisfaction monitor the coast has never been better. The astute home and land buyers are researching the coast with great vigor and those properties priced in the zone as guided by agents are getting results. House purchasers are realising that irrespective of where the world economy is positioned, life is not forever and lifestyle and enjoyment are primary considerations, and all continue to be irrespective of third party influences. With some great offerings from motivated sellers there is no better time to secure your coastal lifestyle retreat.

‘Lorne – Weekly report’. Another big week in Lorne with all traders and business operators reporting summer like trade. Amy’s Grand Fondo brought thousands to town and the event was hailed as a great success by all involved and lets hope that this can become another signature event for our great town. On the local sporting front we had Grace Stewart playing her part in the premiership winning Newtown U/13 netball team. Along with Grace we have Dixie Weetman, Mali Gallaher and Ruby Meredith continuing to train with the Life Saving Victoria Junior Development as they strive for selection in the Victorian team.

‘Lorne – You must have a look at this’. For those looking for quality, seclusion and space – you must check out 12 Gardiner Avenue, Lorne. A superb residence with a price reduction that ensures you must have a look at this one!!

‘Lorne – Quote of the week’. “The more I want to get something done, the less I call it work’.

See you in Our Backyard.
