Our Backyard – Anglesea

Watch out its cray cray time! Another restless night with that bright full moon beaming through our windows! There are some breathtaking photos of the coastline along the great ocean road capturing full moons and I have no doubt there will be plenty of admirers out at 4.30am to view the eclipse that take place until 7.30am tomorrow morning.  The Full moon sitting behind iconic landmarks like the Aireys Inlet – slit point lighthouse are spectacular. This week along with moonbeams, rainbows and angels! I again experienced whales joyfully swimming and breaching from the water. I was actually pretty reluctant to get out of bed and walk this week, but the sun always seems to shine in the morning on the coast and whilst the winds are off putting, this particular morning I dragged myself out and there they were just waiting for me. Seeing these beautiful creatures actually makes you stop in your tracks and just enjoy watching and being present. It’s so important to just take time out and breathe for a moment and these sightings make you do just that, also like watching incredible surfers catch the perfect wave as I did last weekend with beautiful conditions.
